China Team Arrived Safely - part 2

Hello everyone!  Thanks for your faithful prayers! Suzanne, Chante, Ruthie, Trista, Barbie, Barb, and Tif arrived at the Philip Hayden Foundation in China Tuesday around 4 pm on Tuesday, Matt and Grace arrived Wednesday morning at 2 am. After long flights, we\'re all still doing well!  There\'s another team here, 31 members, and they\'re finishing up their VBS. We had a fun day that ended with 5 huge boxes of fireworks. It\'s 4th of July all over again! So far, we\'re just being available to serve the Lord. Next week, our team will begin our VBS. Be praying for the hearts of these special needs children!

China Team Arrived Safely

Received a report from David Park, Trista\'s husband.  He said he heard from Trista last night at around 3am and they made it to the orphanage without a problem! Everything went smoothly at the airport and they are safe and probably resting right now. Praise the LORD!

Please continue to pray for their time in China.

Russia Team Update

Dobre Utro (good morning), Kadilla (how are you) ?   Things are going so well. The lack of internet connection has been the reason for our minimal contact... we are staying so busy and I am glad to confidently say that we are busy with the LORD's work. We have finished our first set of concerts and God moved in powerful ways. However, the dramatic shift in what we were doing with our time (from the concerts to this week) leaves us all clingin to Him for direction and leading. We are now teaching and running an Art Camp this Monday-Thursday and God is continuing to show Himself.

We have had people selling Cavas (a Russia beverage) get saved, a news reporter, and countless other people on the streets and concerts. God has been moving many to tears because of His work and I wish I could say I kept dry eyes the whole time but I wouldn't have it any other way. We are so excited to see what God will do because we know His heart is to save and restore all of Smolensk.

Please pray for a sensativity to the the Spirit, for a continued passion to serve, for energy, and for God to move in the lost and saved to draw them close to Him.

Lord bless you..

Russia Team Update

A quick update on how our time has been in Smolensk. We arrived here at 4 am on Tuesday morning. Wednesday we began our outreach and God has been blessing it. Thursday we continue the outreach which included passing out flyer's for Friday's concert and ended the night with praise and worship in both English and Russian. Last night which was Friday was our first concert, the guys had some interesting problems with the sound check and setting up for the concert but God is faithful and the concert was incredible.  It has been such a blessing to be here, getting to share Christ love with all of the people is awesome. Today we get the opportunity to do two concerts! one at 7 pm and the other at 11 pm (in another town) We are trusting that the Lord has it all under control and everything will run smoothly. Please be in prayer for our health as well as our safety and the people of Smolensk that their heart's would be soften and that they would come to know the Lord.

We love you all and are praying that the Lord's will, will be done.

God bless you all.
