Landon-
Wedding plans....visas....ministry.
Parks- we are still not in a place where we are fully funded so we ask that you join with us in praying about this. That God will place this need on the hearts of others to help, whether it be individuals or other churches looking for other missionaries already out on the ï¬eld to help support.
We are looking at some big expenses over the next couple months as we are looking for new housing and reapplying for our visas. The lease of the house we are living in now is up in the end of April, so we are starting the search to ï¬nd new accommodations, wherever that might be here in London. We are looking to move a bit more north of the area that we live in now as it seems to be a bit cheaper in rent per month.
The other thing about moving is that we will be praying about how God can use both of us and our marriage to reach into the new community He will place us in.
The other expense is our visas and we are just looking at all of our options right now, but do need to make some decisions really soon as to which visa we will apply for. So, we wait and pray and really seek guidance from the Lord as to what to do. Please pray with us and pray that God will provide for us in ways that will be so miraculously from Him.
Merrills-
We are all doing well! We are loving this new adventure and Milla is such a sweet girl!
Ministry as a family
Mark Piester- Far Reaching Ministries
I would appreciate prayers for the following items.
· Pray for Sasha and Luba Cherednichenko - they were in a car accident last month and their car was totaled. Pray that the Lord will provide them the much finances to purchase a used vehicle for their ministry to orphans, elderly and needy families in their region.
· Pray for the “Potatoes for Grandmas” food project that the food parcels will be a ministry tool to share the love of Christ with the elderly and large families.
· Pray for the preparation and funds needed for the upcoming summer camps to be held in July. Lord willing we are praying for the Lord's provision to provide 130 children with scholarships to attend the 10 day camps.

Pottengers-Kenya-
Thank you for praying for the current situation at church. God is so good and we know he is in control. A church member this morning sensed some intense spiritual ware fare and just felt like we should pray. We didn't quite know what to expect but prayed that if any officials showed up at church that they would hear the Word of God, feel God's love and be drawn by His presence. How great if these officials came to church and got saved. Well it was a normal Sunday service with no disturbances and we thank God! We also praise God for our Pamela who is close friends with a mama from her church whose husband has a city job and works with the municipal.
This evening he, Matt, and Pastor Stephen were able to meet and it was so helpful. As Stephen explained things this man John got on the phone several times and asked questions like, "who was driving the car on this day?" etc. Matt said he is not someone you would want to cross but was so kind and friendly. He shared that there are security guards who work for the municipal and conspire with people at the courts to basically bully tenants and scare them into paying an amount of money that they then share among themselves. Unfortunately we are not surprised by this but really want to be doing things right as a church. John told the guys we technically should have a change of use form but that it's the landlords job to take care of that. He also said if it is official municipal they need to introduce themselves, give names, and proper paper work. It could be that no one even comes tomorrow now that we know John but he gave pastor stephen specific directions if people do come. Matt now feels at peace leaving for Nairobi knowing Stephen won't be arrested. Smile.
John stated that it's not likely the landlord will take care of the change of forms because when we do leave he will have to change it back so we are not sure where that leaves things.
Please continue to pray for:
The above situation
Wisdom with finding land and when and where
Our travels to Nairobi- safety health for girls (they have small colds) vaccination on tues.
Mor-mor and papa as they begin their travels on Monday USA time
Our visit with Matt's parents
Rest for o4
Last mamas training this week - for women to be blessed by the spiritual and physical training
Health for us as we are pretty wiped after this weekend....also said goodbye to two missionary friends this weekend.....always a little hard.

Please pray for our government, that they will try, when things like workers go on strike, they can come in quickly and intervene so that people, in this case patients don’t suffer; I know lots of people lost their lives due to the doctors’ strike! (Not sure if this has been resolved yet..so please continue to keep it in prayer)
Compeans-Kenya
Thank God with us for making His revelation available to us, but also for the joy of seeing people receive that word and have their lives transformed.
Please pray as we install John Kung'u as a new deacon this coming Sunday. Please also pray for John and the three other men going through the Shepherd's School to equip them for future church plants. Please pray specially for Felix Atilla as he labors in the Kibera plant.
Please be in prayer as Jackson finishes up his time at Rosslyn Academy. He is in the last stages of two major term-length projects and is practicing for the school's musical production of Sound of Music. All of that while looking forward to graduation parties and preparing to leave Kenya.
Okay, okay, okay, so we have an extra helping of the spiritual gift of administration (1 Cor 12:28), and have already started filling in our calendar for speaking dates while on furlough. Please pray as we plan and set up those meetings. Pray communication can be clear as we seek to schedule dates and times.
Finally, please pray as we prepare to facilitate the Calvary Chapel wide Kenya Ingathering to provide a retreat and fellowship for the missionaries and national church leaders laboring here in Kenya (and a few from Sudan). Please pray as Kelli prepares a message for the ladies and as I gather with the lead pastors.

Ramsey is home and they are enjoying time together.
Prayer
Now that Ramsey has a valid passport...Please pray for us as we will start the process of applying for a Visa for him to come and visit America. We are praying that we will be able to come this year. We would like prayer to be able to come and visit and have opportunities to share all that God has been doing in our lives.
This past week while Ramsey was in Juba applying for his passport, he was approached by the local Operation Blessing people about a little boy who was extremely malnourished and desperately needing help. Ramsey was able to arrange to take the little boy to the children's home that Ramsey has been helping at for the past few months. Ramsey drove the little boy 3 hours away from Juba to his new home where he has been getting taken care of and is starting to improve dramatically!!! Thank You Jesus!!!
Please keep Augustino (2 years old) in your prayers. Pray that he would recover and be strong in body, mind and spirit and that he would grow up loving Jesus!
Gordons-American Samoa
We give thanks for our family - Lately we have all either been sick, or are currently sick - smile - please pray for Gods strength to be made perfect in our weakness and the grace to do what needs to be done regardless how we are feeling.
We are thankful for the opportunity to try to acquire Elizabeths U.S. citizenship. We have to make some serious decisions regarding travel documents, green card, citizenship stuff and travel plans......Needing to be completed by May 10 - We pray for favor and Gods leading and HIs blessing to to be upon us.
We are thankful for the opportunity for Liz to go to nursing school - Please keep her in prayer as it can be difficult going back to school, especially in a foreign land. She did great her first semester so thanks for the prayer.
We are thankful that the Lord has placed His Word on the airwaves here for free. We pray that the Lord would saturate American Samoa with great teaching through Pastor Chuck and Pastor Jon and many would grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We are thankful to be serving at CC Samoa. Please pray for Robbie as he teaches the men’s fellowship on Tuesday nights and the H.S. fellowship on Wednesday nights.
Please pray for “One Way Shave Ice” - We took a step of faith and opened a “hang out” place for the youth across from ASCC college. It has been a blessing thus far and we have got to minister to a few students that have come in for shave ice but instead met Jesus - smile - Please keep this venture in prayer.
We are thankful for the G.F.Van....It is a blessing to be mobile however the power of salt air and the rust and damage it causes....well we know Jesus hold all things together so we know He will hold the G.F.V together as well, but lift it up as He leads you ok - smile.
Please ask the Lord to help Robbie in learning the Samoan language and culture.
Don & Marta- Israel
We are closer to receiving visas to Israel. * The office processing them in Jerusalem has requested more information. Once they have the information we should be granted the visas. *Pray that this process will be finished soon and that we will return to Israel soon.
Pray as I am sharing about Israel and passover on March 25th at a Sunday service. * Pray that we will be led of the Holy Spirit.
Also pray that we would have boldness to share His love and truth with all we come into contact with. We are thankful and praise the Lord for so much grace that we have received recently.
Mark- Israel
Pray for his part in the ministry Operation Blessing.
The Ms- Israel
Praise:
- Praise the Lord for new friends! I was introduced to a new friend this week, who is a new immigrant from the States. Miss"R" doesn't yet speak Hebrew, and has had a difficult time meeting people here in Jerusalem. She is a believer in Jesus and is looking for a home congregation in the area, as well as a job. Please keep her in your prayers.
- Praise the Lord for answered prayer! JM was able to get to the Dr last week, and little by little, is doing better. Your prayers are so important in the healing process.
-Praise the Lord for opportunity: It is now officially Passover season, a great opportunity for sharing about Yeshua, our sacrificial Lamb. We are organizing a big Passover banquet as an outreach that will be our largest ever.
Please pray:
- Please continue praying for a complete healing for JM. He is still experiencing some pain from his cracked rib, particularly in the evenings.
- For opportunities during the upcoming Passover season, for the seder outreach we're planning, and for the growth of our Congregation, Shemen Sasson.
-For spiritual growth of those we are discipling and teaching (Mr. F and his two sons, Mr. A, Miss T. Miss F, Gal, Jen and baby Katie), for Miss "S" who's seeking the Lord for specific guidance in her studies, for Aminidav and his family as he continues with his treatment schedule, and for Miss "R" who needs a job.
-For the reconciliation ministries we are involved with and that we will be able to develop further ministry partnerships in the Arab believing community.
- For the Lord to continue smoothing the way for me as I seek permanent residence in Israel. I am still feeling overwhelmed with all the documents I need to get together. Please pray that the Lord will help me to get them quickly and to move forward with this process.
Stephen & Pat-Israel CC Tel Aviv
We want to thank you all for your prayers - God is so faithfully answering. The man from our soup kitchen that had prayed to give his life to the Lord, came to church. He had been raised in a Religious family, so it was the first time he had ever gone to church. Pray that he continues in fellowship and grows in his relationship with the Lord.
Also, Gabi has lived with us for over 7 years because his mom had abandoned him. His mom has recently moved back to Israel. She has been attending our services and Women's Bible Study. Please pray that she completely gives her life to the Lord. Also, pray for Gabi in the same way. He is really searching. He told us recently that he now believes in God and is very close to believing in Jesus. His mom was scared to see us, but Gabi told her that we love her. He said that believers get upset in the beginning, but then they forgive. He said there's something different about believers, they truly love and forgive people. (what a blessing that on his own he sees that in believers).
Also, we have had over 250 rockets shot into Israel from Gaza. It's completely God's protection that no one in Israel has been killed. 3 of the rockets landed in Gabi's army base. Praise God no one was even hurt. Please pray for wisdom for the Israeli government (and wisdom concerning Iran). Also that God uses the fear the people are feeling to bring many to Him.
Please pray for wisdom for us. Brian (Stephen's Asst. Pastor) has been having a weekly Bible Study up in Haifa. We recently rented another facility in Haifa that will enable us to minister to the poor (within blocks of where we hold the Bible Study). It's a large building where we can have a free coffee shop, distribution center, and a free Medical Clinic. There is also room for allowing some of the elderly homeless and sick to stay there. Stephen feels like the Lord's leading him to really focus on Haifa this year. We are so blessed with mature believers helping in Tel Aviv, so we are going to be living in Haifa 4 days a week and in Tel Aviv 3 days (Brian has been doing this for quite awhile now). This will enable us to really build relationships with the people and know better how to minister to them and show them Jesus' love.
Pray for health and energy, especially for Stephen. Pray for continued wisdom as we are taking a huge step of faith again in doing this:)

We are in a time when God’s redeeming hand has set on our Nation. Revival in our Land is more evident than any time in the history of the church in India. The Lord is doing something unique to send the latter rain soon. It is so much urgent to mobilize strategic and focused prayer for our Church, our neighborhood, our City, our State and our Nation as a true Indian.

Please pray for a friend of mine in Kerman, California, who is dying. His name is John , wife's name is Susan. For many years he has heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ from another one of my Russian friends. But when asked about his own personal salvation, he does not answer. He ignores my russian friend. He has stage 4 cancer in the bones, morphine is not helping very much and he is at home with family and hospice comes all the time. Please pray for John that God would save him and his wife and family, in fact that whole russian church in Kerman Calif.

Praise! For young people here at CBF: Jon, Sonya and Philip. They have been on summer staff and now are interns here at CBF. They’ve been a huge blessing from interviewing potential summer staff to helping with housekeeping!
Also, praise for the many Project Genesis groups coming this spring and summer.
Dan-IBS training
Thanks for your prayers for my trip to the Philippines. I had a great trip. We had over 100 pastors and leaders in attendance for the IBS seminar. The participants were a very sharp group and they quickly picked up the concept. Many shared with me how much they enjoyed the seminar. It was a special time for me to see many old friends from our years living in Dumaguete City. My memory bank was working overtime!
I also attended a graduation at Silliman University of a young lady named Em-Em who was a recipient of our son Aaron’s memorial scholarship. She was our first student to graduate of several who have been getting their college education paid for through this scholarship. Em-Em is very special to Debbie and I as she was also the first baby taken in by Rainbow Orphanage many years ago. After we adopted our Aaron, many more baby’s were being offered to us and that is what brought about Rainbow Orphanage in Dumaguete City. It was a bit emotional for me as I watched her graduate.
Rachel-Philly (Continuing prayer)
Work:
-A lot of kids at LH have been struggling recently. Numerous amounts of kids have been in the office because of bad behavior. And its hard because most of the time when these kids act out at school, its a reflection of what they are dealing with at home! -Also, there is a 2nd grader (Jayson) who we think might be autistic or have some sort of learning/social disability. He has been getting worse and even aggressive the last few weeks. Plus he's been having a very hard time obeying the teachers. Along with this his classmates are starting to pick on him because of his outbursts, which only make things worse. and His mom doesn't want to put him in another school even though he might have more personal help. Pray that we will have guidence on how to best handle the whole situation.
-LH is very low on finances right now. The teachers haven't been paid in two months and things are running very tight! Pray for God to provide new donors or grants for the school!

PRAY! READ! SACRIFICE!
Share your faith - Pick up some of Shoreline's Gospel of John at the Lighthouse. To share your faith, you just casually hand one of our small, pocket-sized book of John booklets to someone you meet. We encourage you to dedicate a pocket to the Lord and place a Gospel in your pocket every morning. Prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit to show you an opportunity to give it away. You'll be surprised how receptive people are to your gift when you offer it. Just give them out and trust God for the results.
Our Gospels include a helpful section that gives more details about how to become a Christian, complete with suggested wording for a prayer the reader can use to tell God about the attitude of his or her heart. It also has information about services at Shoreline Calvary Chapel and our website address.
Remember that Gospels are most effective when given to someone else in an actual one-to-one encounter. Just leaving Gospels somewhere in the hopes that someone will "discover" it doesn't have the same impact, and may even lead to Gospels being thrown in the trash. Take the time to hand Gospels to someone with a friendly smile and you'll enjoy some great results. (for more information go to Pocket Testament League.
Kids Night Out - Our first outreach happens this Friday. Kids can be at the church from 5-9 pm. Please pray that the word of this event would go out and that parents would bring their kids. Flyers are available at the church. Pray that additional helpers would come forward and that all of the helpers would be blessed and enjoy their service. Pray about how the Lord might use you in these events.
E Week - An insert was in your bulletin this week (there will be another this week) with opportunities to serve and donate to E Week. There will be information and prayer meetings every Sunday after 2nd service. Come and get your questions answered and find out where your time and talent can be used during the week before Easter.
